Thanks everyone. Anna, kool log is special log made from pottery material that when filled with water cools down some 10 degrees. There is website for them. They allow to grow even some intermediate to warm species outside in hot Florida. I have Masdevallia and Dracula mounted on them, and they grow very well, Masdevallia survived without any stress the whole hot summer outside, Dracula can be kept outside year round except July and August when it is too hot even with the cool log.
