Lepanthopsis Astrophora 'Stalky'
First time blooming for me. The flowers on this are SO TINY!!! And just beautiful. If the color was not so vibrant, you wouldn't know that it was in bloom at all. It has multiple spikes in bud right now, the first flower opened this evening. I'm so in love with this diminutive little orchid.
Grown in my intermediate - cool terrarium.
Please forgive my chipped nail polish in this last one. :big grin:
Thanks for looking!

AWESOME!!! This was in fact my very first miniature, recommended by members here on the OB, and go me to my miniature frenzy. I totally love and always will this chid! Once it starts spiking for you like this, you will enjoy blooms for months!

Love this guy.
That colour certainly alerts you of the flowers presence. Great growing!

Thanks for the comments! I saw this plant in Ordphien's nightstand lantern thread here and had to try it.
Taking the pics was an adventure. I had hubby adjust the light on the terrarium for me and getting a good angle with a macro lens attached to an iPhone was a trick. I didn't want to remove the plant from the terrarium, let alone move it at all, because the spikes are so tiny that I was afraid I would snap them off. So I carefully maneuvered my phone in the terrarium and hubby stood to the side so he could see the screen and tell me when to snap the shots. Definitely a team effort!

Wow that is so small. I can see why one would miss it if it wasn't so brightly colored.

Very nice!!! I have one too, and it blooms often but not as often as I would like it to.
