Default Lepthanthes colodictyon in bloom

Bought this as a replacement plant in May, since then it keeps flowering and since these pictures were taken I've noticed several new leads for new leaves as well as some new roots breaking free of the moss.

I grow it hanging in a vase with water and stones in the base. I've shown it in the last shot (please excuse the finger prints ). I think the last one died from getting too hot in the sun/window in a small glass globe, I keep this slightly more out of direct sun and I'm hoping the open top of the vase will help avoid such overheating.

Oooh! I like this one and I love how you're growing it too! Very nice! I'll have to add this one to my list. The lines on the leaves are very well defined on yours. Just gorgeous!

That is a lovely set-up....I fear growing these kind of orchid minis because I have humidity issues especially in winter. But even with mini terrariums my heater just decimates them so I open slightly the bathroom window and leave them there all year, some flower for me and some just grow like grass.

Thumbs up

Oh Rosie...so very nice! I've experimented with your type of set-up before and it really does work for the right kind of plant. And we all know size doesn't matter!

Thanks everyone

I just love it and was so pleased to see new leaves starting when I got back from vacation a few days ago.
