Hi Mike
we do grow many of Pleurothallis dressleri plants in different conditions - some in terrariums, some outside in Florida. They do grow under both conditions, plants grown outside dry out quickly, have bright shade and grow slower, plants in terrariums grow faster and bloom literally all the time - the key is to use only good quality water (RO or rain), weak fertilizer, have decent humidity and air movement - even the plants in terrariums are in open terrariums and they do dry out between waterings. This works for us, but we know other growing these with great success in enclosed terrariums - some swear by moss and grow specimen plants quickly when moss takes off and grows pretty much nearly over the plants. We do use some moss but do not have plants covered with it. People that have great growth gain with lot of moss sadly never saw blooms when our plants that are allowed to dry out between waterings are constantly blooming. Try to adjust maybe air flow, let plant slightly dry out between but keep still good humidity, and lower the light till you see some new growths at least. Hope this helps.
