It grows great, and except the hygrolon I started to use cut hygrolon liana, for dressleri and many other miniatures :-) It seems to work perfect for this guy! It is IN SPIKE yet again :-)

Thanks Devyn, it seems I mastered dressleri, they all grow so well for me, and actually spike very often. This makes me beyond happy this was the orchid I had on the top of my wish list and really wanted to own and bloom :-)

Tindo, what is not like, it is amazingly tiny (real micro orchid), the foliage is off the hook looking like tiny water melons, the creeping growing habit is my favorite and the bloom, so huge in compare to the plant, is just stunning, the color, the shape, everything, I am totally hooked up on this orchid!

Ok wow, I had to take a second look at the photos. I see it now. Awesome. I hadn't really noticed the foliage before.

:-) My plant is over 100 leaves now, the one growing on hygrolon cylinder, I have another piece outside on driftwood, growing well, another piece mounted on hygrolon liana piece, growing great :-) I still want more :-)

Pleurothallis dressleri with 2 blooms & 60 leaves!
Default Need help

I purchase a Pleurothallis Dresslerii in march , 2021. I mounted on a branch in a Vivarium with a lot of live moss. After I purchased the plant I was misting it with bottled water once a day . Slowly the leaves were turning yellow. So I lowered the amount of watering to once a week over the past two months and the leaves are still turning. The moss continued to grow and stay green. I lower the LED lights to a PAR reading of 25 low light, thinking this might be the problem. Can anyone advise me as to what they might think is the cause of loosing leaves. The plant has never flower or grown any new leaves since I have owned it.
