Dracula Cinnamon Angel in bloom!
I got this Drac (my first) back in May I think? I have it growing in an intermediate-temperature environment, in low to medium light. Humidity is normal household humidity, and I keep the sphagnum that it's potted in constantly moist. I wasn't sure if I could succeed with a Dracula, as I'd heard they were finicky and absolutely required cool temps. This one must be more of an intermediate grower, because it's been putting out leaves and several bloom spikes. It just came into bloom this weekend. Success!

I like it. Your description makes me want to try one, but I have absolutely no place to give it the right conditions... I don't think... *pondering*

I always shy away from these because somehow they are stuck in my mind as cool growers.
I think I should give it a try.
Is this the monkey face orchid??

I think Dracula simia is the classic monkey faced orchid. It could be a parent to this one, maybe?
