Lepanthopsis astrophora spike? Male
Default Lepanthopsis astrophora spike?

I'm wondering. If it is I'll pray they don't blast.
Sorry for the bad photo. My phone and macro shots aren't friends.

Yes indeed! After the blooms appear to finish, don't cut it off. I've found mine will continue with more blooms later

How exciting.
This miniature has been very easy so far. Very rewarding.

I just discovered another one which I assume is branching.
These flower spikes are so tiny! The size of thread.

On a note of personal pride...

First ever mini orchid rebloom!!!

How exciting! You have high humidity in your atmosphere this time of year even indoors.
Do not pray, use a strategy, put it near a window inside so bugs wont eat the buds....if you have a large jar, put some water inside and hang the plant on the rim to avail of the mini terrarium effect....just as the flowers open=when it is all done flowering you can put it outdoors once again. I do that to all my spiking orchids outdoors or else the birds and the bugs will get to it.

it's nice to know they rebloom. I actually had no idea about that.

Isn't it though?

Unfortunately were in that time of year where the humidity drops in our area. Winter is where the humidity is at.

But it is in a terrarium with high humidity.

I'm just afraid of something like, my mother in law sending evil spirits to destroy my orchids lol. So nothing basically. Just worrying to worry.
