Default Scaphosepalum gibberosum spike

I normally don't share photos of spikes, but I just think this is one of the coolest spikes I've seen on an orchid. When I run my fingers up the inflorescence it feels like sandpaper. I've had this plant since October and it has thrown out three spikes. It's a sequential bloomer, so I'm excited for the flowers!

Poor thing probably had all the water going to its head with your having it upside down like that.

Thank you! There's no bloom, yet. The spikes have doubled in size and are still growing.

Mine hasn't bloom either and the 4 spikes are over 25 cm plus. I saw one in bloom at a recent show and the flowers are almost 10 cm in width! Can't wait!
