Scaphosepalum gibberosum spike
I normally don't share photos of spikes, but I just think this is one of the coolest spikes I've seen on an orchid. When I run my fingers up the inflorescence it feels like sandpaper. I've had this plant since October and it has thrown out three spikes. It's a sequential bloomer, so I'm excited for the flowers!

Thank you! There's no bloom, yet. The spikes have doubled in size and are still growing. |

Mine hasn't bloom either and the 4 spikes are over 25 cm plus. I saw one in bloom at a recent show and the flowers are almost 10 cm in width! Can't wait!
