Lepanthes calodictyon spike development
This baby is pretty much blooming nonstop for the past 6 months, every leaf produce the spike, and the spike re blooms over and over. It does the best for me on the hygrolon cylinder inside the apartment, but I am testing one outside too:-)

Great picture....I am fascinated how flowers grow from leaf on this one. That hygrolon log is really cool with a mini jungle it is supporting. I guess you have to keep it moist all the time.

Carrie, go for it! I recently started to use the hygrolon liana for mounting - these little guys love it. I just chop a blogs from the liana I did buy, and use as round mounts. Than, if you place the mount into some small glass vase, and keep bottom moist, the hygrolon will keep moist at all times wicking the water, like my cylinder does. I have few like this and they all love it!

plumania, hygrolon is a material that wicks water, and stays pretty much moist at all times, so the moisture and humidity is constant!
