Default Restrepia brachypus

Just wanted to post this new bloom from a cutting of the Restrepia brachypus I posted last week. This plant is closer to the front of the terrarium so I was able to get my camera closer to the subject.

I love these - R. brachypus is a very trouble-free plant! I got mine as a rooted cutting about a year and a half ago. They grow and bloom well as long as they have enough moisture and humidity.

Yours looks great! Nice photo, too (my photos are never that good).

Really lovely.

I agree it's a very trouble free one for me.

How do you root cuttings though. I've had leaves grow like keikis (from the base of another leaf) then grow tiny root stubs. Some of them have fallen off and I've tried sticking them in the moss with the rest of the plant, but they've always died and the root stubs not grown further. Is there anything special I should be doing, or do you do cuttings another way?

Honestly I just ripped it apart and tied it next to the moss. I have not seen any roots, but its hard to see with all the moss. It is also putting on a new growth.
