nikkik, the shape and color of the bloom is truly amazing, and it is also "true" mini, so tiny!

I hope they love me as much as you.
I'm in the midst of setting up my first mini orchid vivarium.
Thanks to your encouragement lol...
I'm planning an order of six mini orchids. Each have different temp and water requirement, as well as light.
I'm using them to test what's possible in the vivarium.
And if it all goes well with one of the kinds I plan on ordering this little beauty you posted is definitely going in.

Ordphien, so glad you are getting into mini's, but watch out, they are highly addictive (however what orchid is not, right?:-))
Testing is maybe good, I did go different way though, and chose all that are Intermediate to warm tepms, that do not need high light, and that like to be pretty much moist at all time. This way I can provide in the small wooden vivarium the same conditions and watering regime, and it seems to be working fine. I did avoid any that like to dry out completely, or that need high light levels since I knew I will not provide it for them in the vivarium.

If this vivarium works out I may just get addicted!

I didn't go too crazy with the differences in care lol. They all like to be moist to wet, and grow on the intermediate to warm side. Some grow on the cooler side of intermediate.
But most are around the same area in care.
I've been taking note of the ones you care for as well.

Great Ordphien, this is good, my hygrolon has from hot growing to worm to intermediate, and for example Masdevallia herradurae is now with 9 spikes, second time in 2 months, blooming together with telipogoniflora, rapax and calodictyon, so it seems that the whole setup allows even orchids with different temps requirements to bloom!
