Default Lepanthes calodictyon first spike


This was one of the latest additions to hygrolon, in November. I love so much this mini, just for the foliage looking like small water melons, but I must admit the bloom is even more interesting, looks to me nearly like some little insect, and the red color really stands up on the green background! There is already some 4 new leaves growing.

Wonderful, Tommy! I have yet to see a Lepanthes I don't like, but the foliage definitely makes this one stand out.

Beautiful! Great shots! I'm happy to see how well yours is doing.

Mine is still loving it's shot glass and has been in bloom since my last post.

Awesome Nikkik, yes, I am very happy this is first open spike but there is many new leaves growing. I did post also about my Masdevallia with open spikes today, I am so excited, so much happening on hygrolon now:-) Great x-mas for me:-) Glad to hear your shot glass baby is loving it too!!

I'm happy all your plants are doing so well and that you have so much in bloom. I have to say that I am liking the minis more and more.

Yes, outside at the balcony as well, and inside the hygrolon babies are really making some xmas show for me for sure! I love mini's, they are adorable and I can still add more to hygrolon, there is space left, just need to get more light:-)

Wow!! you got yours to bloom!!! mine almost died from the cold I had to move it ,, so now its in anoter spot somewhere else.. I must say.. that hygrolon sure makes things take off quickly, I need some of that stuff!!!!!!! I will have to find some and get it soon.. I really like it!!
