Default Dryadella"simula" A tiny one.

This one of the smallest orchids I have, a cool grower, relatively slow growing but flowers every year, you can miss it sometimes because of its size, it gets lost amid the Masdvallias.Quite common in New Zealand and I have never seen a variation of colour or size, Has anyone seen another type?

There are several species of Dryadella which look similar to this one. The one that I have, Dryadella hirtzii, was suggested to be simula. See the discussion here: http://www.orchidboard.com/community...as-opened.html

They are such cute little plants! Your's is very nicely grown, good job!!

Hard to tell if yours is the same, the shape is right, the hirtzii is not quite so open as the simula, I have checked a few sites and found others that could be either.
So much to learn so little time.
