Default tovarensis losing leaves

I have a very large specimen tovarensis that has been loosing alot of leaves lately. it is growing in the basement under a 4 tube flourescent fixture. Temps are running about 62 in the day and 58 at night. Not a large temp diff but its the best I can do. It has 4 old spikes thatre developing buds but the problem is the new leaves turn yellow and drop off. Along with some older leaves. I keep it moist but not overly wet. This is the only masdie that I ave that seems to be giving me problems. Any suggetstions?

My tovarensis wasn't happy staying completely moist all of the time. I switched to a regime that allowed it to be moist for most of the day, but dry out overnight. Then I would water it again in the morning. I think it likes its roots to stay moist, but if the crown of the plant - i.e. the rhizome at the base of the leaves - stays moist it doesn't like it.

I agree. My M. tovarensis died I think because It was not given the chance to dry out. It was mounted and I thought I could not over water it. I was wrong.
Once mine started loosing leaves, it did not stop.
