Default Masdevallia hartmanii

A miniature sized, cool to cold growing species. This gorgeous masdevallia is recently discovered from Ecuador.

The color combination is fantastic! I'll definitely have to keep my eye out for one of those, it would do really well outdoors here.

Great colors. Wonderful species. Very healthy looking plant. I've been moving Masdies around in my garden to find the right spot for them. I'm a bit outside the range on both sides for the cool growers and have been trying different things to compensate. Veitchiana has two tiny buds. So fingers crossed.

Joule, hatechu!

Seriously, very nice plants. Are you growing in a terrarium type situation or greenhouse?

I grow my masdies in summer in my greenhouse or also many my masdies are hanging in trees out in my garden.
In winter i have a special room for them in my house where the temperature is quite low ( 7-12 C ) and i use LED-lamps there.
