Barbosella cogniauxiana in bloom
My Barbosella cogniauxiana is in bloom this August. Seems a little early, last time it was in Fall. I guess thanks to our cool down, the plant thought it feels like Fall.

Thanks all! I am still on a learning curve with this orchid. Have only adopted it last year. My initial research says it likes cool and cooler, and made me apprehensive since it is the reverse here most of the time..hot and hotter.. I guess providing it with a cool shade and good air movement will make it settle well. It was my first time last year too to get mini orchids..so surprised how mini they are Lovely space savers.

Barbosella cogniauxiana this Oct2014
It is finally in bloom again! This time right on Fall season! I got apprehensive last summer..a string of leaves drying out badly..but as soon as Fall came in, saw the leaves perk up much better, and with stepped up watering..buds and blooms!

It is mostly in part sun and then shade in the afternoon, I also have it quite near my fountain.
