Yes, it's hard to get across what Blood actually looks like. But I agree that's what to call it - it really is the only thing I can compare it to. The flowers are also very thick and feel like leather... hence, long lasting as well.

When I was with Tom talking about all of them (and I mean... ALL of them haha) and I pointed to this one, he said it was "the best Masdevallia in the whole house".

I've come to agree.

If you ever divide one of yours or decide you want to sell one...I'd be interested I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one and it's not been easy to find....if anyone has some suggestions please let me know!!

Excellent, Jeremy! Keep us posted as to its warmth tolerancy ... this is one I'd like too should it prove highly tolerant.

How large is the flower, btw?
