We need to call you "resurrecter of old threads"

Well, as soon as this one grows larger I'll have some divisions. I really love the deep color on this Masd.

I can't wait until it blooms again. Thanks for the kind comments everyone!

Well, I'm just trying to catch up on what I missed during the spring and summer.
What I really like on this flower besides the shape and form is that it has M. ayabacana in its lineage. I go nutso for anything with masdies from the Regalia group, Section Durae.
M. ayabacana
M. dura
M. goliath
M. newmaniana
M. panguiënsis
M. princeps
M. regina
M. robusta
M. titan
M. utricularia
.

Some of these you can't get, others are hard to find and their hybrids are often really popular and always amazing. I used to have a collection of many of the species and their hybrids, but most died from an overly hot summer of neglect which led to scale infestation. Now starting over. Slowly.
