Default big-leafed pleurothallis

Hi everyone,

I recently saw a pleurothallis gargantua in bloom, which is absolutely beautiful, and I fell in love immediately. So I went looking for other big-leafed Pleurothallis.

After a bit of searching on the internet I found a few names such as: Pl. excelsa, Pl. titan and Pl. colossus.
I already found a Pleurothallis excelsa (and bought it ).

I was wondering if anyone can give me the names of other big-leafed pleurothallis so I can expand my collection!

greets Davina

Pleurothallis marthae came immediately to my mind.

In fact there is a section macrophyllae/fasciculatae with 147 species on Jay Pfahls orchidspecies internet encyclopedia.

Yeah I had a look at it, but that list is filled with regular-sized ones as well isn't it?
We're looking for the really bombastic Pleuro's :P

I bought that one recently. Do you have one?
The leaves are curled and maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong, I think it is because of the transport. It was brought to Belgium from Ecuador so it was packed for 2 weeks.

I did have one, but it had popcorn virus, so I had to get rid of it. I had slugs at the same time, and was moving plants around. The virus wiped out my pleurothallid alliance collection.

If you take a picture of your plant and post a new thread, we will try to help you figure out what's wrong with it.
