Wow, what cool flowers. What I would usually refer to as 'tails' on flowers like this look more like 'spurs' on this. Really cool.

I wonder if they have something to do with pollination and attracting an insect.

Thanks, Tindo. The closest to a picture of the whole plant is the last picture on the blog post. You are seeing a good part of the plant there.
