This is a new purchase from the Edmonton Orchid Show. One of my pre-orders from Forestview Gardens. I am extremely happy with it and most of the others I ordered.
It came with one partially developed bud that just fully opened yesterday so I cannot take credit for the bloom.
I think it may have gotten a little deformed from being moved around and bumped for 3 days after I got it till I got back home so its a little..Askew..and did not open quite right I think.
Its my first Masdevallia and I think I may have gotten the bug I think its gorgeous minus the deformities and hope to get more. The colour is lovely in person and the hairs are cool, especially the violet coloured ones leading down the throat. couldn't really get a proper colour pick as all I have atm is my smart phone and the hairs change colour as you move.
