Dracula lotax- The Clown Drac
So this is the first and only Dracula I've ever grown and its a real charmer! I'm growing it in my terrarium and for a while I was wondering why I could see spikes coming out and watching them abort at about half way during their growth phase. Anyway, I cut the fertilizer strength way down (burnt leaf tips was the reason I did this) and took a bulb out of my t5 HO system (I went from 4 to 3) to bring down the light. As you can see the changes worked and I now have 3 blooms! Enjoy!

Always have to laugh at the weird combination of names, "Clown Dracula." Great work, Steve.

Thanks GT! Doing experiments is my favorite part of the hobby. It usually pays off in the end. Sometimes it doesn't. lol

I'm glad I can inspire further orchid addiction! I think you'll be happy once you get this one too. It seems to be constantly spiking and grows faster than most orchids I can think of.
