This ever faithful blooming orchid plant gave me 28 spikes this year, I almost forgot it hidden behind a large Vanda on the fire escape....this must love my environment in summer and winter to be able to grow healthy and happy.

Great pics against the sky. I planted mine in my terrarium and it actually got out competed by my moss growth. I can no longer find it.

Beautiful, I love the grobyi and its tiny blooms. Yours has really grown well and wow, the blooms! Mine has done very well for me though not as big as yours, yet. Great pictures too. Thanks for sharing the progress with this little one.

It is not hard to take care of this orchid specie. Due to the widespread habitat this orchid plant can be kept at a temperature of 80F. In contrast to many other orchids, this one flourishes in a spot with a lot of shade but high humidity.
The one thing that brings this diverse orchid plant is flower size. The flowers are so small that a magnifying glass is needed to appreciate the beauty and complexity.
I got this plant mounted and I didn’t want to mess with it since it is thriving well in my apartment environment on the east facing window of my kitchen. It bloomed early this time of year and I am glad it is happily thriving for the past 8 years in my care.
