Default Dracula chimaera

This is a Colombian Species that grows in cold weather from1500 up to 2500 meters above sea level. I am at 930 meters a.s.l. and have been growing it with no problems. It hangs together with other cool lovers from the branches of a chestnut tree with no other protection than the tree itself above. I’ve been growing it for more than four years and it’s doing well so far. I love these strange, dark, hairy flowers! The flower appears in an unnatural position, just for the photo; it normally is held facing the floor.

That's neat, Mauro!
I'll have to enjoy yours because I've learned recently that cool doesn't work for me here

Thanks for sharing

How I wish I could grow orchids 'hung from a tree' outside! I'm green with envy!
