I've been admiring the Masdie veitches for quite some time. This one was in bloom when it followed me home on the POS greenhouse tour.

After a week of admiring the bloom indoors, I put it out with my ferns as it's a cool grower. A raccoon pulled it out of the pot and broke the bloom stem.
Fortunately rest of plant recovered and it has another bud. When it's done blooming , I'll try outdoors again. Seems like our local raccoon likes bright colors. S/he left the small potted ferns alone.
