Default Lep. nycteris

Named for family of bats, but one of my contacts tells me that they call it "the Mexican" for its resemblance to a figure with a sombrero.

How wonderful this has bloomed for you. My plant just makes babies but never flowers....or maybe I must have missed it since it is very tiny

You should be able to see the flowers. They are fairly large for a Lepanthes and come on fairly long spikes. Mine blooms best in a very low light spot and mounted.

This is my matured plant which is mounted and this is the brightest light it has ever been for I needed to take pictures of it.... it has been 2 and a half years and it has never bloomed for me....I keep it moist near a humidifier and weekly weakly fertilizer all year; no rest period.
*what is lacking in my care?

Your plant is larger than mine, Bud, and even appears to have old spikes on it. Can't imagine what you are doing wrong. The only thing I can think of to try is changing the day length, but perhaps you are already doing that.

That might help. Mine is at the bottom of the back rack in my case and is shaded there by another larger plant and is always in bloom.
