Ron, as always, gorgeous photo. Very cute little bloom. I really should study your photos to improve my photography.

Oh, and I love the bathing swan shot! Just breathtaking.

Lovely flower with the striped petals....its actually a Masdevalia....The plant is named after the region of Amaluza in the Province of Azuay, Ecuador where the species was discovered.

*the swan must have seen fish and tried to let them surface....the down feathers that dislodged in the water from shaking serves as bait....

Yeah, I know it's still classified as Masdevallia by some. Luzama is the newest name for this and two other species.

Didn't know that was what the swan was doing. I, too, thought he was bathing.
