Default Masd. Peppermint Rock x ignea blooms

The flower opened today. I am new to this genera. This is the second masdie that bloomed for me (first one was decumana).
There was a second bud but it blasted for some reason.

It's a cutie! I've been waiting for your post! I have this hybrid from Ecuagenera as well. Just got it in Feb. but no blooms yet. My caudata is ready to pop! It will be interesting to see if mine looks just like yours whenever I get blooms.

Thank you WhiteRabbit. It is a pleasant color, I like it too. I have just 6 masdies, they all seem to do good except constricta - leaves keep curling, don't know why.
Good luck with your masdies.

Thank you Silken. Hope yours will bloom soon.
I like caudata, so colorful. Looking forward to see your pictures!
My veitchiana has a spike too, but spike is still too tiny to be sure that it will bloom and not blast. I got it recently from slippertalk auction.
