Your favourite online Masdie sources
Hey guys,
The Masdie bug is hitting me again after the recent losses my collection took. So was wondering where all you guys buy your Masdies from.
I usually get some from Parkside, Hillsview, or Moutain Orchids.

I'm not sure if Ecuagenera hits any orchid shows in your area. But they have a wonderful selection.

I get most of mine from Kalapana Tropicals Orchids - Hawaiian Live Orchids. The Hawaiian grown look much better and stronger than any of the masdys Ive gotten from all the above you mentioned. I just about have or had 1 of everything they (kalapana) offer. I have to politic the owner for some NEW stuff. She doesnt list batches that are too small for retail, or cultivars shes going to divide .
You can also try http://marniturkel.com/Pages/orchids...es/masd. html. She has cool growing orchids. mostly species masdy's and draculas. I have bought a few from her and have been pleased. She has some great looking draculas! A little more involved ordering from her bec you cant order off the site. Marni also sells on ebay as "mostlyspecies".
But good luck as always I know you always have some nice looking plants..
The masdy bug BITES and the poodle chooses!!!

Jaime Posada of Colomborquideas - his plants are imported by Gary Meyer via Colombian Orchid Imports. Gary also is part of a group that owns Hawk Hill Orchids. Then there is Theresa Hill of Hillsview Gardens.

I would also consider Darrin Norton's Mountain Orchids in Ludlow, Vermont.
