Normally this is a dark reddish-brown. Mine is a kind of alba form, I guess.

The colouring may be subdued, but I find it really attractive.
It reminds me of something else in the Saltatrices group you showed pictures of in past that looked like Sea Horses, I can't remember what that was, although may have been filaria which looking in your flickr album is definitely another that reminds me of sea horses, not sure if it's the one I remember or not.
