Yea, I've taken one of those small fridges you see at grocery stores with bottled drinks in them and set it on a timer. It only comes on for 15 minutes twice a night to drop the temps. It's lit from the outside using just a basic 3-bulb lamp with 6500K CFL bulbs.
So far, the day temps get to about 75 on warm days, sometimes they never even get to 70 though and the lowest temp. reading I've gotten since I've gotten a hang of the timing is 48. It rises into the 50s quickly though and then hits the low 60s before it kicks back on again.
I've only been running it for about a month, so the bloom credit for this one probably goes to the person I got the division from. I am seeing new growth in the chamber though, so it's a good sign my experiment may be a success.
I currently have a few Draculas (olmosii, felix, chestertonii, etc.), Masdies (yungasensis, ignea, mendozae, coccinea, etc.) and a couple Pleuros other than this one in the tank. The Dracs. didn't really like how cold it was getting in the beginning, so those look a little bad.
It would be interesting to see how a Telipogon or Fernandezia would do in here. I may give them a try if these guys do well for a while and I feel I've got a good grasp of their care.
