There is a time to flower and a time to produce babies...more keikis means more spectacular blooms in the future when they all mature. There were no bugs to pollinate the flowers so the plant's survival instincts was to produce keikis...
use the basal keikis to make a bigger specimen...cut the keikis from the spikes and produce cuttings and sell it...its high time they earned their keep
