Gorgeous Masdies! It's not very noticable that there are spikes missing on the first one. Myra Capricornia is gorgeous, I'd seen striped masdies before, but never mottled ones like that.
As for that non orchid, wow! It has such an incredibly nice color.

good growing Bolero...
iv'e been trying my hand at masdies.... and thus far iv'e had one flower on my masd picea, and 8 buds on my masd rolfeana are soon to open..... surely can't wait.......
your ( Bob Hoffman 'Anya' ) is just gorgeous... and i'll be keeping an eye out for one of these.....

Oy! That first masdie got turned into a pincushion! LOL Love the flowers on that one! The others aren't too shabby either. heh
Strobilanthes dyerianus (Persian Shield) are lovely and can get quite large. They like lots of sun -- at least here in my area.
