I'm working on getting my little Restrepia up to that size. How bright do you grow your plant? Living in Edmonton, I'm assuming you grow under lights. Also, if those pics are your 'beginner' pics, you have nothing to be self conscious about! I'd say you are on the right track!
Thanks for the compliment Isarus79. Yes, I consider myself a "newbie" at photography and pleurothallids, but I feel I get a lot of help from this board, and from my OS. This trichoglossa was only under lights for 3 mnths. (mid nov. -mid. feb.). For the rest of the time it's grown in a int./warm terrarium, with light levels between 800 -1500 fc., humidty about 60% or more. I would like to learn a lot more about these species, but have a hard time finding info.
