Default Lepanthopsis astrophora 'Stalky'

I bought this little guy, (and when I say little I mean little) sometime in the Spring so this is a first bloom for me. It's so cute in it's 1 inch pot and amazing that something so small coud put out so many spikes, I think I counted 15.

One of my first and favorite miniatures. Hard to beat this one, colorful, floriferous, and easy. Always a hit when I bring mine to the meetings.

Thanks, this one is on my wish list for our orchid show. Any cultural advice you can give me?

ezil - to be honest, I don't do anything special. It lives with my mounted plants on a North wire wall . The wall is fairly shaded has great air movement and gets watered every day during the growing season, which for me is about March - Dec. It will eventually go into a vivarium that I am working on.

Wow! So many spikes! I think you underestimated, I counted at least 20 in that picture! Way to grow!

I love this one too. Recently got my own. A bunch of spikes blasted right after it arrived, but it shot out 5 new ones in no time. I grow mine in a 10 gallon terrarium with my other small plants that need higher humidity. SO EASY!

Very cool plant and flowers, I'm going to add it to my wish list for spring. Thanks for posting both flower and plant pictures.
