Masdevallia Redwing
I bought it many years ago from JL Orchids.
Very tough plant (I killed almost all my first masdies) but it doesn't bloom often. I think I gave it not enough light.

I have a Redwing I also got from J&L last year. It's the same shade of purple as yours, but the darker veining doesn't show up as nice. It blooms fairly consistently, but with only 2 or 3 flowers at a time. I probably need to supply more humidity.
I'd really like to see a Redwing that is red.

Stunning. Great growing. I always feel like Steinbeck's Lenny from Mice and Men when it come to Masdies. I love them, but then I get all "I want to pet the rabbit" and they just get crushed in my care. Sad. I will just live vicariously through you guys.
Thanks for sharing.
