I envy you for that dendrobium! I would love a Cuthbersonii or something very similar

I don't know what you are able to grow, but Mountain Orchids in Vermont has a nice cuthbertsonii hybrid called Dend. Illusion - very floriferous, a bit bigger than cuthbertsonii, but ever so much easier to grow.

I've heard of that hybrid! It sounds great. I don't know what would be involved with buying one over the border, and of coarse I would have to wait until spring. Our climate is actually quite good for Cuthbertsonii, and so is our water. We have cool nights in the summer and high humidity all winter. We also have a cool basement with good windowsills, so if it gets too hot I can move them down there.

Thank you Ron! We'll have to stay in touch and see if that is a possibility.
Where in Canada are you going?

Edmonton, but I do come across at other times as well. Also hope to get over to the island next summer.

You'll love the Island.
