I traded for this one. If you can wait a bit for it to grow some more, I can probably see to it that you get a leaf cutting, too.

Thanks Ron, that's very generous of you! How would that work with the border? Are you planning on coming to Alberta in the near future? (I know you have family here and love to visit the OSPF @ the Muttart)

We probably will not be up that way until next June, but can throw a leaf in our luggage without worrying about the border (I think you're allowed plants for personal use into Canada, anyway). Remind me next spring and I'll take a piece along.

Thank you so much. That is a great time for visiting Alberta, it's also the time our native orchids are in bloom.

That's why we come up around the middle to the end of June - to see the native orchids in the Candian Rockies (and to visit family).

That's beautiful Ron! Love the color and that it has spots AND stripes! I always love your photography!
I got my first Restrepia over the summer as a small keiki. It's a brachypus 'Red Stripe'. It's actually growing much faster than I thought it would, so I might have something to show for it in less than a year! (for once, lol)

Thanks, Evan - I love the Restrepias but they take up a little more room than I can afford to give, and so I only have two of them, this and cuprea.
