I couldn't believe it when I saw Masdevallia's in my local garden center. Even though I tend not to buy NoID's these days I couldn't resist this one which was in bloom at the time.
It's meant to be intermediate compared to other Masdies and I will probably keep it in the house over the winter (rather than the others being in the cool greenhouse).
I've been growing it in the green house over the summer and it seems really happy
It held it's first flower from when I bought it in mid May through to early July and is now already in flower again. This time with
four flowers and a further three spikes still developing.
