Default Masdevallia Falcon Sunrise

Who says you can't grow these in a dry/hot climate?

Well it's funny you should ask that........the plant grows outside all year round as do my other Masdevallia's.

Winter ranges from 35F to 60F but humidity is over 50% all the time and at night it would always be over 90%.

During summer the temps vary from 60F to 110F and the humidity during the day is 10% to 50% and at night over 90% all the time.

If the temp gets over 90F I bring the plants into airconditioning but they have stayed outside a few times when it was hot and I rarely lost a leaf. It really depends on the plant.

P.S The plant is in a tall 80mm pot (that's just over 3 inches wide).
