Shakkai,
The problem with coccinea is that it's fairly intolerant to heat. I live is ~USDA zone 9. Masde coccinea thrives in our winters but falls apart in our 30oC+ summers if you're not careful. Keep it cool year round (<25oC with cool nightly drops) and it should grow OK.

Andrew, thanks very much for clarifying that! USDA zones don't really reflect the climate here. As they go only by the minimum winter temperatures... So technically, I'm in zone 8 or 9 because we have fairly mild winters. But it doesn't get nearly so hot here ever.

I can keep it cool, no problem.

LOL! Judi - the orange one in the photos is tiny, so everyone should be able to fit one in! I actually got these from easyorchids.co.uk - and they sent a free Paph because I ordered three plants.
