This is a beautiful flower. I love the red an yellow color combo. Too bad that most draculas are not suited for my growing conditions. I need to find some warm to intermediate growers that look as pretty as yours.

Beautiful. Way to grow. Draculas are so neat, I just became interested in them and actually have one just about ready to pop a blossom

Very neat, is that one flowering out of the bottom of the pot? Is that usual for this species?

Nature always does something for a purpose - so here is a question. Why all those tiny hairs covering the surface of the flower? Anyone know?

nice flower
and yes many flower from the bottom of the baskets.


the hairs purpose is to limit moisture loss by cutting down air movement across the flower...on the flip side to collect dew bec they like it

HI

I think there are a few intermediate to warm dracula species... try Mopsus and Cordobae and there is one of warm Idon´t remember the name...
