Just got a plant with a tag reading Dryadella langburgii, while the seller's website lists it as Dryadella lansbergii. Looks like a Dryadella (it is not Pleurothallis lansbergii). I tried to trace the name with Jay's and google, but have no clue what could be behind it. No flowers yet, so could be a number of things. Leaves look similar to D. zebrina (aka typical Dryadella). Any idea what this could be for real?
I don't know the answer, but Kew does not have either Dryadella lansbergii or Dryadella langburgii listed as a species, or even as an alternative names of a species.
Thanks both of you. I figure it is not an existing name, but an error in the orchid trade. I have found D. l. in a couple of bulletin board posts, so the name seems to be floating around for a while. Just wondered whether anybody has made the connection between what is sold in the trade as D. l. and what it really is.
