Masdevallia Razzle Dazzle
This is just one of several really well grown masdevallia at the Michigan OS show. I didn't get pictures of all of them.

A little side comment, you should prob give some credit to the grower in the picture where you have the watermark.
An incredible chid though. Always impressed when seeing some of the specimens at the orchid shows.

I would credit the grower if I had the information, although I disagree that it is necessary. A photograph is the property of the photographer, not of the subject.

That's probably true, I just always feel bad when I dont give some credit to the grower, but if you dont have it, oh well. Nice picture though

Oh I agree completely. Problem is that at an orchid show you rarely know the grower in society exhibits. I could make an educated guess, since I know almost everybody in the region (especially the ones who can grow masdevallia like that...), but I'd hate to get it wrong.
We do have some of the best pleurothallid growers in the country in the Great Lakes region. We are blessed. Wish I could grow them that way.

Gorgeous plant, but my thoughts too. My first bud just blasted after getting tall and looking good I am thinking too warm of temps.

Wow gorgeous masdie!
I need to show it to mine to show them what is expected of them although one of mine is just opening a flower, giving it two at a time which is the best it's done so far, so I can't complain too much

I seem to remember the color being pretty close.
