Masd caudata
Huge showy flowers.
Long lasting blooms.
Emits the fragrance of what smells like raspberries.
I love this one.

Very nice colour and shape. I guess it goes on my wish list, especially if its a fragrant one.

It's absolutely beautiful and smells good!! Double the pleasure! I really need to get some Masdies. I'm so scared of killing them. Are there any warmer growing Masdies? Maybe I could set something up. I love looking at the pictures of every ones blooms, but I'm so dang scared of them!!

There are, but it doesn't get all that cool here either.
Maybe you can try Masdevallias in the section Durae. All those have large showy blooms.
Or Masdevallia wendlandiana. These are very low elevation growing Masdevallias (the lowest recorded elevation they were collected at were at around 150 m).
If you're specifically talking about Masd caudata...
There were a few days during the early spring when temperatures shot up to the high 80's F to low 90's F, and it weathered just fine. Acted like nothing happened.
