Congratulation Philip,in our place it is not easy to bring them to bloom I started last year to grow some and they are thriving so far...my friend who lives in NP has a few in bloom!great growing!

Congratulation Philip,it is not easy to bring them to bloom in our area,I started to grow some last year and so far they are thriving...my friend from NP has some in bloom so it is possible.very cute masd

There were a few days during the early spring when temperatures shot up to the high 80's F to low 90's F, and it weathered just fine. Acted like nothing happened.
Philip, what temps do you grow yours in? My average temp is 23°C /73°C .... all year long... I really want one of these as you know!

So far, the lowest low it can take is 36 F.

The highest high, I'm not sure, but it's very evident it can take it into the 90's F.

I think you're safe to grow many different kinds of Masdevallias, not just Masd caudata.
