Default Masdevallia prodigiosa

This is an unusual looking flower, but still very beautiful.

It has a kind of oily smell. It's not unpleasant, but it isn't wonderful either. Difficult to describe the fragrance accurately.

The pic shows the flower to be orange, it's closer to being salmon because it has a slight pink tinge.

The lip is hinged and bobs up and down in the wind.
