Can anyone give me suggestions for miniature orchids (intermediate to warm growing) that form nice clumps. I want orchids that will spread nicely and eventually make great specimens (similar to epidendrum porpax). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maxillaria sophronitis, Mediocalcar deocratum, many of the small Pluerothallis like grobyi, alata, etc.

All of the above - they are definitely worth a try. If you have the light levels for them Sophronitella violacea and Sophronitis cernua could also be interesting.
Let us know what you decide.
