Masdie. Hampshire Prolific Question
I bought a Masdie Hampshire Prolific in the beginning of Feb. It was in low spike and has since grown many more. It's third flower opened today and I noticed that the first bloom spike (flower still intact) has branched and is getting a second bloom on it. I know very little about Masdies. Is this a sequential bloomer? Is this normal? If yes to both of those it may be my new favorite.

It doesn't bloom sequentially for me. But I still love how it puts out flower after flower. Great Masdie!

Maybe one of the parents is a sequential bloomer.

I was told one of the parents is floribunda which is a sequential bloomer. Learning as I go....

Maybe that's why the word 'Prolific" is in its name

Probably!!! It certainly is. It has 3 flowers open and quite a few on the way.

Yes, Pictures please!
Do they take long to open once the little spikes have grown? I have one spike on mine (1st bloom for me) and I can't wait to see it!

It takes a while from the spike first starting but once it buds up nice it will only be a few days. And I can't believe how long the flowers have lasted. Pics shortly.
